"Me First" Curriculum
We utilize reflective materials that incorporate the current lifestyle and environment of the participants to increase their desire to learn more about any given topic.
The down-to-earth communication skills of our instructors create a relaxed learning environment, thus increasing the opportunity to develop a trusting bond.
Participants are taught techniques to manage and resolve crisis issues along with the benefits and consequences of applying, or failing to apply to positive life skills.
Our menu of workshop topics were requested by teens, caregivers, educators and based on current events, research and issues affecting urban America.
The topics provide participants with the opportunity to ask questions that they don’t feel comfortable asking their parents or teachers.
