PROGRAM FEATURES PAGE:

After School Program (SFDH) - is a year round after-school program for girls between the ages of 11 and 18. SfdH, the preventive component of the organization, promotes leadership and goal development skills and helps to build individual self-confidence.

Big Systa Alumnae Association and Program - The alumnae program offers the opportunity for Big Systas to act as mentors to their Lil Systas, and to pass off knowledge acquired during their tenure in the Systas 4 Systas programs and from their life experiences

Big Systa Alumnae Panel Discussion - Allows Big Systas to dialog with Lil Systas, Big Systas visit Lil Systas at school or on campus, Send care packages to Lil Systas away at college, and Provide stress relief during midterms and finals by making study - break dates.

Girl Grant - Incentive program created by Big Systa Alumnae to financially reward lil systas who pursue outside interests. Applicants must submit an essay stating how and why the grant will be applied.

SOS Achievement Award - Financial reward for graduating lil systas pursuing post-secondary education or entrepreneurial endeavors.

“Me First” Curriculum - is a series of gender-specific workshops designed to build life skills and self-esteem, increase self-awareness and strengthen desire for success. These workshops are instrumental in narrowing the communication gap between youth and adults in areas surrounding Newark, East Orange, and Orange, NJ. These workshops are custom tailored to meet the needs of the consumer, providing intervention and prevention strategies to succeed in today’s society. PLACE Y0UR ORDER HERE
